Honne Maradu is situated on the calm back waters of the river Sharavathi from the world famous water falls JOG.
LOCATION:
It is for the water loving guys who can have a solid time in water sports.
For the adventure loving people,there is Kayaking, Wind water surfing,boat rowing etc...
FOOD and ACCOMODATION:
Food and accomodation is provided by the camp incharge authority.
The dates should be booked prior in the office incharge in order to stay for a few days at the camp.
The night stay in the tents with the camp fire in an isolated island is the best part of the stay.
MODE OF TRANSPORT:
Bus facility is not avilable to reach the exact location. If you are coming by Bus then you have to go to Sagar and catch a bus to jog falls and get down at the place called Hiremane. From there its a walk of 6 to 8 kms to Honnemarudu. Cabs can also be booked from Sagar to reach the place or hire an auto from Hiremane.
THINGS TO CARRY:
Light, water resistant clothing (based on the number of days you stay).
Swimming apparels are very good for those intrested in water sporting.
Snacks,torch,candle,hat or umbrella,shoes,raincoat,blanket,first aid.
